• Phone Calls: When you call a campground using our AI phone assistant, we record call metadata (duration, time, caller ID) and conversation transcripts to improve service quality and complete bookings.
• SMS/Text Messages: We send transactional text messages including booking confirmations and payment links. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time.
• Usage Data: Browser type, IP address, pages visited, and booking activity for analytics and service improvement.

3. SMS/Text Messaging

How We Collect Phone Numbers for SMS

Phone numbers are collected when guests call a campground property powered by Lunaria Booking to make a reservation. During the call, our AI phone assistant confirms the guest's phone number and reads a verbal disclosure explaining that SMS messages will be sent regarding the reservation. Guests must verbally consent before any text messages are sent. The full consent flow is documented in our Terms of Service.

Types of SMS Messages

With your consent, we send transactional text messages on behalf of campground properties, including:

• Booking confirmation and payment links (identifying the campground property by name)
• Reservation reminders (only if you opt in by replying YES to the reminder opt-in message)
• Two-factor authentication codes (for property manager accounts)

SMS Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We only share information with service providers as required to deliver SMS messages.

Message frequency: Varies based on your booking activity. Typically 1-5 messages per reservation.

Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from reminder messages. Transactional messages related to active bookings (e.g., payment links) may still be sent when you initiate a new reservation.

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Phone Call Recording & AI Assistant

Our AI phone assistant handles incoming calls on behalf of campground properties. Calls are transcribed and logged to:

• Complete booking requests accurately
• Provide call records to campground management
• Improve AI assistant performance

By calling a campground number powered by Lunaria Booking, you acknowledge that your conversation will be processed by an AI assistant and may be recorded.

5. Information Sharing

We share your information with:

• Campground Properties: The property you're booking with receives your reservation details and communication history.
• Service Providers: Payment processors (Stripe), communication providers (Twilio), and AI services (Deepgram, Anthropic) that help us operate the platform.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We only share information with service providers as required to deliver SMS messages.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure authentication, and access controls. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

We retain booking records and communication logs for the duration of the business relationship plus any legally required retention period. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

8. Your Rights
